Field Mounted Indicators Dual Inputs Flow Rate Totalizer

Field Mounted Indicators
Precision Digital manufactures a wide range of field-mounted indicators and controllers that are suitable for harsh and hazardous environments. They can be easily mounted to pipes, walls and other surfaces in your facility, inside or outdoors. These meters feature either rugged NEMA 4X safe area enclosures or FM, CSA, ATEX, IECEx approved explosion-proof enclosures. Field mounted loop-powered meters can be installed in areas with limited access to additional power because they derive their power from the 4-20 mA loop. Many of these meters feature large digits and sunlight readable, wide angle displays.

  • The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6363 offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6363 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It is specifically designed to display flow rate and total from two (2) pulse output (NPN, PNP, TTL, switch contact, sine wave, etc.) flowmeters. It displays these signals on a dual-line, 6-digit Sunbright sunlight readable display. The two display lines can be used to show both flow rates simultaneously, to alternate between the two inputs showing both the flow rate and total of each, or to show the result of math functions performed on the flow rates and totals. The total overflow feature allows up to 9-digit totals and grand totals to be displayed. The PD8-6363 includes a 24 VDC power supply to drive the flowmeter and can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA analog output. It can be programmed and operated without opening the housing by using the built-in CapTouch through-glass buttons or the RS-485 serial communication port with free Modbus protocol.

    Why you should buy:
  • Go with the Helios PD2-6262 when you want to display two 4-20 mA flowmeter inputs on one meter. Both of these inputs can be displayed on six full digits and each flowmeter is provided with its own 24 VDC power supply. The PD2-6262 can also perform a variety of math functions on those two inputs, such as computing the difference between them or summing them together. One application for the PD6262 is determining fuel consumption by computing the difference between two flowmeter inputs.
